Ferderal Pilot And Temporary Programs For Skilled Workers
In order to attract and retain the foreign workers needed to sustain the particular territories/regions, communities, or industries, the Government of Canada introduced the following pilot and temporary immigration programs to provide eligible foreign workers with a pathway to Canadian permanent residence.
- Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP)
- Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP)
- Agri-Food Immigration Pilot
- Live-in Caregiver Program (LCP)
- Home Child Care Provider Pilot
- Home Support Worker Pilot
- Permanent residence pathways for Hong Kong residents
- Temporary Resident to Permanent Resident pathway (TR to PR pathway)
